Diagnostic
After a few days of stressing like crazy, I told my host family my
diagnostic troubles (as in, i need to do 100 interviews in 2 weeks) my
host mom got on the job. She sent my little brother out to all her
friend's houses and with his help we did 25 in just one day! It was
great to be so productive and get a good head start on the work. The
next day, Saturday we FINALLY made it to a meeting with the kids in
the Banega community and passed off 25 interviews for them to do. And
Monday we passed off 25 more to the kids in Limon. So this would be a
grand total of 100 with the 25 the kids already did in the center of
town. I hope to get all these back before Thursday and that leaves me
until Tuesday to work on the presentation. Tuesday we present to the
PC and then the rest of the week is filled with more training and
planning out our work plan for the next year. Also, on Saturday we saw
a really cute house that was empty in the center of town and my
project parnter and I talked to the owner and shes going to discuss it
with her family- if they dont want to move in, they'll rent it to me,
so cross your fingers!!
With all this finally coming together, and a day of shopping in the
city with Nicole for some much needed clothes and Monday eating Taco
